We’re thrilled to announce that the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of the world’s most respected cancer treatment centers, is now using ZipThaw.

ZipThaw is a next-generation biomaterial thawing medical device. It rapidly thaws blood products and cells using patented dry technology that’s safe, preserves coagulation factors and RBC oxygen carrying capacity, and requires much less maintenance and energy than water baths.

MD Anderson has installed ZipThaws in their surgical suites, for real-time, at the patient’s side, thawing of therapeutic plasma. They’re also installing units in their blood bank.
