FreMon Scientific Accepts ZipThaw202™ From Sysmop Technologies

FreMon Scientific accepted final delivery of the ZipThaw202™ prototype from Sysmop Technologies of Israel at the New York Blood Center on August 17th 2017.

Moni Shavit, President and CTO, arrived from Israel to unpack and prepare ZipThaw202™ for testing. Fred Thacher arrived from San Diego. Together, with the New York Blood Center, FMS began testing for FDA certification and 510(k) application August 21st 2017.

Sysmop Technologies is a leading medical device engineering firm based in Israel that FreMon Scientific has contracted to assist with the design and build of the patented rapid, dry and portable blood, plasma and tissue products warming and thawing device. After passing stringent testing by the senior scientists at the New York Blood Center on August 25 ZipThaw202™, FMS returned the device to Sysmop Technologies for further testing and certification. It is expected that within the next 60 days applications for both FDA and CE Mark certification will be complete.
